Hello! We’re Jane and Brian Smith, the faces behind Smiths Collective Brands.
We’ve been bringing innovative, creative brands to salons in Australia and New Zealand for more than 30 years. You may remember some of our previous products, like the fabulous ARTec range in the 1990s (before we sold it to L'Oréal).
As owners of a boutique hair salon in Prahran, Melbourne and as hairdressers by trade, we’ve spent countless hours both on the salon floor and as international Salon Educators. Past chapters in our lives have included years in Europe and New York – where, among other highlights, Jane was the Queen of Holland’s regular hairdresser, and Brian served as the Director of Educating & Training for L'Oréal USA.
Smiths Collective Brands embodies all that we love and believe in about the hairdressing industry. We want to continue to push small, innovative brands forward in Australia and are committed to bringing only cutting-edge products to market.
